Silicone Group Operator – Multiple Opportunities

The Silicone Group Operator is responsible for quality of product and workmanship and participation in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and productivity.  The duties encompass all aspects of the Silicone manufacturing process, including transfer molding, mold assembly, finishing, blasting, mixing, blending, freshening, metal processing, fabrication, post baking, part marking, product assembly, painting, testing, and inspection.  The Operator must meet the requirements of the learned skill and demonstrate proficiency before an increase in pay is warranted. 

This position falls within the scope of the FAA Drug and Alcohol program and potential employees must pass FAA Drug Screen upon hire and submit to random testing as required.

Candidates must be able to work off shift (2nd or 3rd shift) for an extended period of time; likely multiple years.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 1 – 2 years manufacturing experience
  • Fluent in English both written and verbal
  • Mechanical skills – including vehicle & home maintenance using basic hand and power tools
  • U.S. Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or other appropriate status in accordance with U.S. import & export regulations

HCL Fabricator – Multiple Opportunities

The Parker Lord HCL Fabricator is responsible for performing direct labor operations in the High Capacity Laminates (HCL) department within the Erie facility.  The HCL Fabricator supports Erie plant production to achieve high quality products with high level workmanship while following all safety protocols and being involved in continuous improvement within the HCL department.  HCL Fabricators are asked to perform a large variety of manufacturing processes across many different areas within the HCL department. 

This position falls within the scope of the FAA Drug and Alcohol program which includes a random testing program and successful completion of an FAA pre-employment drug screen.
